- If you are looking for predictability and routine, high education is the way to go! The academic calendar is the same each year, so whatever programming, planning or tasks you have occur around the same time each year. -Great medical, dental, and vision benefits. -Rarely if ever have long hours. This is a job you can not worry about when you clock out.
Cons
- Little opportunities or professional development and/or career investment. The only way that you receive these opportunities is if your supervisor is invested in your professional development. -While the benefits are great, the pay is below average. Atlanta is becoming more expensive to live in, yet the yearly raises do not match the rate of inflation in Atlanta. -You have to pay for parking. Granted its pre-tax, but still...
