Pros
The work assignments have been enjoyable, challenging, and rewarding. My management chain is very supportive and flexible. Open communication with senior leaders. Competitive pay. Better leadership after going private.
Cons
Insurance benefits are expensive and lacking. Other perks are not competitive with similar companies (e.g., not providing all federal holidays, low PTO accrual). If a timecard is short by an hour, they'll dock your pay an hour. If your timecard is over by 20 hours, you get paid your normal salary. Terrible HR/recruiting at corporate.
