Large system, EPIC is a good EMR. They have cafeterias.
Cons
It is a business at the core. There is no value for experience or for long term employees. Everyone, patients and employees are not valued. They nickel and dime the patients and make access to care more challenging each year. Patients are being forced to get care at immediate care or the ED since it is so difficult to get in with PCPs. PCPs are leaving in droves due to restrictions on practice and short visit expectations. Employees are square pegs and just a number to be tossed about. They will squeeze their employees until there is no breath and then throw them to the side and forge forward. The culture used to be warm and supportive and it is now cold and disrespectful. Labs are difficult to get into. The call center has awful long wait times and make constant errors in scheduling.
