Pros
I joined this company as a full time PM in Apr 2021. The quality and clulture of the company is reflected right from the recruitment process. Due to the lack of glassdoor reviews, I was a bit sceptical re: the culture of the company. Upon knowing this, the recruitment team arranged with a F2F meeting with the owner of the company. This put me at ease and I knew that my decision to join was spot on. The company thrives on empowerment, care and appreciation. Each team member in my projects demonstrated high degree of self-organization and commitment towards work. The management was always supportive and always had our backs if the clients escalated. Mangement is always appreciative of people's contribution and I found them mindful about personal lives of the employees. In operations meeting, I have witnessed resource planning that would help some team members who were going through some personal stuff and needed lesser work load. There is encouragement to get certifications (financial incentives over and above fee compensation). Since many members have already taken the certification exams, I got a lot of guidance and materials to clear a certification myself. There are a lot of incentives over and above the employment offer like mobile phone, RRSP matching, leave encashment, leave carry forward, additional bonus for clearing certfications, Christmas gift card. There is absolutely no firing.
Cons
I had to leave this company due to a personal reason and this is one big con for the company. When I left, I knew that it would be difficult to find another company with a comparable culture and environment. It will make that decision hard and you will really doubt your resignation.
