Pros
They are very transparent about finical situations and the overall status of the company. This includes all of the underlying groups. Updates are given regularly in a way that is easy for everyone to understand. And they do seem to pay quite well.
Cons
Some of the groups are very hard to work in. And there are a good number of very high stress people which has a negative effect on the work environment. Plus, the software is extremely outdated, no one knows how to use excel effectively, and tracking project miles stones has just been problematic at best. I have only worked in one group, so I can’t speak to other employees comfort with their immediate coworkers. However, it is disorganized, stressful, with sub par communications from what I’ve work with so far. The work is also very boring. Plus, with the lack of templates and up to date software, means everyone spends a crazy amount of time preparing hand written calcs, then typing them in Word for a report. As well as preparing hand drawings, since very few people have access to CAD. From my experience, this is all very behind the times.
