      There are great people at this company.

      Cons

      Expect to be chained to your desk. Taking time off is not respected and they will still expect you to answer your phone and emails. They say they care about their people but when things get crazy they only care about how much work they can get out of you. Being overworked and stressed is the norm there, so don't expect any sympathy.

      Pros

      Being an Independent Energy Consultant has many advantages. I am free to engage with customers as their advocate being a Subject Matter Expert and Independent of any product or outside influence.

      Cons

      I am only one person and can only help the customer by advising them. However, I can assist them through the implementation stage with an oversight contract.
