Pros

You will work with some pretty incredible people. The people here are incredibly driven by environmental and social values. There are kind, intelligent, and passionate individuals that work at this company. Hybrid policy is great because then you are able to meet these amazing folks!

Cons

The benefits are not competitive to the market. I’ll list out here: 3 weeks PTO, 5 days sick, 9 holidays + 2 floating, 1 month paid parental leave only after 1 year of employment (then FMLA for 12 weeks), a VERY high deductible HMO plan (plan costs about $300/month for an individual), standard dental, and NO vision insurance. They offer a yearly bonus and a learning stipend for employees. There is a 3% 401k match and standard disability/life insurance policy. They offer 2 volunteer company days but I never heard of any scheduled during my tenure there. The hybrid policy is not flexible. You need to be in T/W/Th, and will be reminded by your manager if you miss any of those days. You are allowed 4 weeks of remote work per calendar year, and they offer early summer Fridays (log off by 3pm). Lastly, the company relies on individual employees to shoulder the work around DEI work rather than invest in training, events, or a dedicated resource to build this within the company. As a result, diversity initiatives feel very bottom-heavy rather than supported by company leadership.
