Pros

The product has real potential and could be a game-changer in its space. Mission-driven work that could make a difference if empowered properly. Unlimited PTO (though taking it depends heavily on your team and role). Some genuinely talented and passionate people trying to make it work.

Cons

Toxic leadership culture that deflects blame onto middle management instead of owning systemic issues. Constant turnover — strong people leave or are pushed out, and poor leadership remains. Roles are poorly defined; people are frequently hired without clear needs in mind and then overloaded or mismanaged. Fertility division leadership at the top level is especially problematic — demoralizing and dragging down the whole team. If you’re not part of the inner circle, expect little support and outsized pressure. Teams with high potential are micromanaged or ignored, never allowed to actually thrive. Lack of real decision-making; leadership stalls or reverses course frequently, creating confusion and burnout.

Pros

Nothing. This place is terrible.

Cons

Don’t let these “great company!” “Slackers are the ones that don’t last” planted reviews fool you. This place is TOXIC. If you don’t care about career growth, if you enjoy being gaslit, if you DELIGHT in micromanagement then this is the company for you!! Management is immature and has unrealistic expectations from their staff. They expect you to work nights, weekends and holidays….even going so far as to REWARD you for pulling all nighters and working during holidays. The Head of Fertility is a horrible leader and everyone on the Fertility team is miserable because of it. Management is so bad that it’s impossible for us to retain a fully staffed fertility department! People can’t stand it here and jump ship all the time. EngagedMD is THE nightmare company to work for and I would never recommend working here to anybody; I would even go So far as to tell my WORST ENEMY TO STAY AWAY. The Director of Fertility is going to run this company into the ground with her controlling, gaslighting, micromanaging, malicious attitude. Run.
