Pros
Worked with a handful of people who I still consider friends.
Cons
Look at the average rating on here, 3.3. Take out the VPs or the people who are asked to leave a review, and there won't be very many 5's. Also, 72% CEO approval is pretty bad when compared to other companies. I have been gone for a few years now, but keep hearing about their consistent BS from former CO-workers. I don't know one person that's left and ended up in a worse situation, but I know several people who left and are now much happier. My current role is similar to what it was there, but I make $25,000 more, work from home, trust upper management, and am genuinely much happier. No company is perfect, but there are a ton of companies better than EL. Jason is the most hypocritical, self promoting, holier than thou leader I've ever seen. The only people who respect him anymore are his little crew of yes men minions who follow him around the few days per month that he actually works. Everyone else just pretends to respect him because they have to. Look at the VP team, they literally all look, dress, and talk exactly like him! EL doesn't care if good people leave, but they will spare no expenses to come after you legally if they think you've breached your non - compete, strictly because of how insecure they are. They have no real culture, but think dodgeball, free soda, calling you by an abbreviation of your name, and $10 Christmas gifts make people happy. They have no innovation as a company, and their answers to any problem continue to just be the same BS they've been spewing for years. They talk about company growth because they're always hiring, when in fact they are always hiring because of the constant turnover. They are unethical in how they treat people they don't like. Their favoritism and nepotism is blatant and obvious. Just picture generic Utah , white, middle aged, insecure guys who have no real experience outside of EL, and who let the "power" of leading a trucking company in West Valley get to their head and play to their extremely self promoting ego, and that's who's running this company.
