Less than stellar work environment - Anonymous employee English 1 Employee Review

Money is the only language this company speaks. That is...the money they can make, not how much they can pay you. It's also as if they have a certain model of how a foreign, native teacher should look. If you do not fit this image, you can consider yourself insignificant. The TAs/PAs do not help out at all. Instead, they undermine the teacher in front of the students. Training is unheard of because they feel as a native speaker, you should know what you are doing. Also, they believe (stereotype rather) that everyone knows how to interact with children. Not so. It is very inconsistent on what they deem as quality.
