Scattered training. Left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Inconsistent information given, then told we should know. Ask questions, but if that person doesn’t know, then what? Ask someone else and then told ask the trainer (who didn’t know to begin with!). This is seriously the most disorganized operation I have worked for. Want to reduce turnover? Train your trainers. Help your supervisors. Be good in how you act, not just in word only. Treat people with respect. I am happy to learn, and own my mistakes, but good grief. Give people a chance to ask their questions without talking over them and be consistent in the information. Even if it changes, certainly it doesn’t in 30 minutes. Don’t throw your trainees under the bus because you don't know something. The lack of quality training is so disheartening, and I know of at least 10 others who feel the same way I do. When we speak up, we are belittled. I am sure the response from Ensemble today will be how we need to reach out and they will help. Thank you, but I would rather not have a response than be told a generic half truth.
