Pros

Plenty of parking space, flexible working attitude

Cons

Management does not care about workers considering them as disposable materials. No real sense of direction. Very basic pension and no perks. Modern office feels like a prison inside with cameras installed everywhere. High turnover that comes as no surprise to the existing relations inside the company. Interesting product but luck of competence from the top management makes it feel like useless effort.

Pros

Weekly breakfasts Quarterly Team Lunches Takeaway for lunch ordered in Lovely accounts department Friendly warehouse team Flexible working Organised events such as baking competitions Lovely owner who unfortunately does not know about the bullying and ill treatment of staff.

Cons

Bullying in the workplace by management Toxic work environment Staff are afraid of managers Management make multiple staff members cry over the years, by picking on them continually, embarrassing them infront of the office by calling out mistakes, questioning their capabilities out loud and across the office. Managers if they dislike a person will ignore them, not speak to them, freeze them out, look at them will annoyance, answer any questions with short annoyed responses. Will publicly question the workload of multiple employees and imply that their efforts are not good enough. For everyone to hear. Embarrass employees in-front of their coworker by confronting them hostilely, with raises and angry tone of voice which puts everyone on edge. Managers favour employees with personal friendship Certain managers will mock and make fun of another departments manager infront of staff which causes issues operationally. Management will pick on employees ruthlessly, continuously, which makes other employees extremely uncomfortable. Staff are too afraid and scared of management, to ask for help at times, they would rather whisper and scramble to find a solution in fear of management finding out and embarrassing them for not knowing. Staff fear the mood of management as they are snapped at and spoken to in a rude, condescending, humiliating way. This is an almost daily occurrence from management. Staff are too afraid to even speak out loud at times because the atmosphere is so charged with fear and hostility. Staff are constantly called out for lack of knowledge and errors infront of everyone. The company gaslight staff and ignore bulling by telling employees management are not bullying employees but they are being direct. This makes the company complicit in bullying and harassment.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased that you recognised some of the positive aspects of working with us, including the support of colleagues, flexibility, team activities, employee appreciation days and the dedication of many long serving members of our team. At the same time, we are disappointed to read your comments regarding the workplace culture and management practices. We take any concerns relating to employee wellbeing, respect, and professional conduct seriously. Creating a positive, supportive, and inclusive working environment remains a priority for the business, and we encourage employees to raise concerns through the appropriate channels so that they can be reviewed thoroughly and addressed where necessary. We are committed to providing training, support, regular feedback, and development opportunities to employees throughout their employment. However, not every role is the right fit for every individual, and employment does not always work out as either party had hoped. Whilst we do not comment on individual employment matters in a public forum, we are satisfied that our employment processes are fair, consistent, and applied appropriately.

Pros

Left Marconi to join Entel in 1999 as an RF bench engineer, it was completely different back then, a small team in a modest office. I lived locally so office was easy to get to. Since joining I have seen the company grow to hundreds of staff with offices globally, there has been a lot of change. However, I have always felt valued and part of the company. Like myself, there are many staff that have been with Entel for more than 20 years, due in part to the friendly environment and they support we receive. We have great staff socials and everyone is appreciated and looked after. I have some great memories from my years there and have made life-long friends. Although I retired back in 2023 I still support the business on a zero hours contract, coming in when they need me. To be honest, when not working I drop in to say hello to everyone and have a chat and catch-up. And I still get invited to the socials!

Cons

honestly, none come to mind. but public transport not great
