Senior leadership in terms of: - Expecting people to “just get it done” regardless of realities and lack of empowerment/support. - Not consistently listening to the people on the ground doing the work. - When concerns are raised, especially around how people feel about their place of work, the concerns are reasoned away, not addressed. - When things go wrong it is usually someone else fault, accountability is not taken. Example, the times that there were batches of resignations, it was always the people leaving that was the problem. There was no introspection done to see where the company can improve. - HR has not evolved with what is expected of modern companies. Still focussed on policy and procedures. Need capacity and expertise to also support a healthy workplace culture instead of always look for a quick fix.
