Pros

Not many anymore. I was promoted about a year ago. Have been with the company a few years now. No raises really.

Cons

Almost all of the transcription work is sent offshore leaving us here with "run-outs" almost daily. When I started here they said they didn't offshore. I was happy about that. Then they have offshore people audit some of our work. It would be much easier if QA had direct contact with MTs for QA feedback. The way we do it is tedious and time-consuming. The auditor didn't have much knowledge when she started, is rude at times and have helped her along the way but has a superiority complex. Some QA are arrogant. They promote some who don't deserve it and not others who do. I am thankful I got promoted. The pay is awful too. You can't really make a living on the pay if you are a single person. There is favoritism within the supervisors, QA, and MTs. I was told I would get a pay increase at 90 days and annually even though I was an IC at the time. They now have us all employees. Most of us, some chose to stay IC and they are left out of everything. I feel bad for them. Those raises never came initially and I have been with the company over 5 years. They tell you what you want to hear to get you in the door.

Pros

Small, agile, fun. Starts out exciting. We have a good time at Entrada and there are great relationships. They provide flexible schedule and remote work opportunities. Provide alcohol in break room for employees and guests and have a decent stock of snacks.

Cons

Politics, finances, and honesty. Often say one thing and do another, not honor commitments. Looks for opportunities to hire H1B employees to hold employment over head as threat. Very prideful and unwilling to work with folks outside of what the company wants. CEO has a habit of saying inappropriate things so watch out if you are overweight, dress funny, are religious, have bad habits (drinking heavily, smoking, etc.) and especially if you are an attractive woman.
