Pros

I have put about 9 months between my last day of work at Entrata and this review so that I don't come off vindictive. Its a great place to work and you'll always be busy. You can make pretty good money there depending on what you do and if you work hard people notice. Activities and events, free food sometimes. They try to improve benefits and the ones offered are certainly not the worst Work life balance is okay

Cons

Management is the obvious weak point. The VIP club at the top has insulated themselves with weaker more fearful managers and directors who will safely do what the top wants. So you end up at the mercy of managers who don't care about you. The company wants communication to be a value and try but it is their worst trait. Managers are far too immature and fearful to actually have a real 1:1 or crucial conversation. Its all gossip and grudge holding. Outside of management though the people all really like each other. Its kinda what keeps people there. The owner and CEO is a really great guy and means well but is also ignorantly shady AF and causes a massive amount of drama for employees down below, especially female employees. Lastly, the environment is really fun but that also means it can be very immature and flirty. There is A LOT of workplace flirting, married or otherwise. Oh! Also the location SUCKS. Construction all the time. Traffic like L.A. during peak hours. Difficult building to get to.

Great Culture and a product that actually works. They have raving fans as customers, which help a ton

Cons

The shift from bootstrap to VC funded came with the usual issues of turnover and culture shift

Pros

I have a pretty good group of team members. My mid-level supervisor is also easy to work with and supportive.

Cons

Entrata does not care about their employees, or even their products/services. This is made clear by insane workloads, exhausting meetings with escalated clients, and a “standard” 3% (if you are exceeding expectations and lucky) raise. I do moderately technical work that requires a decent amount of experience, as well as a client facing and internal leadership role, and I don’t make what is considered a “living wage” in Utah, even after years of working here. Execs seem to be having a great time partying at Summit with the most expensive celebrities they can book (Seinfeld, James Cordon, Tom Brady, Weezer…) but absolutely do not care about the uninvited staff who are working to support their client retention and their low-bar concept of product integrity.
