Pros

Family oriented... they will work around your schedule. Perks like only working 7.5 hours a day and fully paid employee benefits. Super friendly employees (if you meet the right ones).

Cons

Managers have had no management training (this company went from 0 to 100 real fast). Every department is run differently so pick wisely. Also, the pay is very low unless you are in upper management.

Pros

The people here are very friendly and there is always something new to learn. I was granted the opportunity to work at Entrust after I graduated college and did not regret it one bit. I learned a lot about self-funding and health insurance. Benefits are great, work/life balance is awesome, and the managers are amazing. A very homey workplace.

Cons

Copier has over 2.1 million copies on it -- may be time to upgrade, but other than that nothing to really complain about.

Pros

Great team with terrific knowledge of ERISA plans. Top sales person in industry. Great location and mid size company so that you know everyone.

Cons

Everyone here is related to owner or other staff that have been with company for over 20 years. Makes for awkward professional relations and internetworking.

Dear Former Employee, As the HR Director of Entrust, Inc. I want to thank you for your comments. I believe it is important that a successful company be transparent and learn from everyone's experience. You are certainly correct about the longevity and tenure of some of our staff. That has always been a positive for Entrust. Employees who stay with a company for 15, 20, 30 plus years show the positive nature of working for Entrust. I understand your reaction but would like to also mention that in the past 18 months we have promoted 5 employees and hired 3 new managers. We are a small company of approximately 100 employees within both locations; Katy and Corpus Christi. I would like to say that opportunities to do exist and that talent and skill are always recognized and utilized. It is also our experience that it takes about 1 1/2 yrs of working experience to fully grasped this industry and Entrust's role in it. You also mention training. Again, you are correct, we do a lot of industry training because our best practices depend on it. As far as additional training, it is on our agenda for 2017. I want to concentrate on a robust agenda of Employee Development, Management Leadership Training and other HR policy training topics. Thank you and we wish you success in your future. HR Director, Entrust, Inc.
