Pros
Started off great - young, vibrant company culture. When oil prices were good, the mood was great and people were having fun. The marketing and sales departments were always treated well. I can't say the same for data entry or IT - but hey, we were on a different floor, so we didn't really hear their complaints. Ping pong table... so there's that?
Cons
Stream of thought here: After a private equity firm took over, things changed. The company pretty much became "Dell South" - we pretty much took all of their former employees. All became focused on profits and morale declined. Some of the managers are just embarrassingly bad - but upper mgmt kept them around because they seemed bro-y enough. If you're applying for a sales job, either mention "Sandler" or "Acton University" and there will be a collective erection followed by a "you're hired" letter to follow. Pay was painfully mediocre. Compensation structure and bonus seemed to change weekly.
