Pros
I have worked for Environmental Lights for several years. It has been wonderful to observe the tremendous growth. In my opinion, this is the result of several factors, including excellent strategic planning, always ensuring the customer is number one, and hiring employees who are talented and work well independently.
I agree that my hiring process involved several phases. In retrospect, it provided me with time to truly evaluate the opportunity and when I accepted, I did so with confidence that I made the right decision.
The atmosphere here is exciting. You definitely feel a sense of comradery and the benefits are great. Another great perk is Environmental Lights is one of relatively few privately held companies who issue employee stock. In my opinion, you work harder and strive to do everything you can because you are a stakeholder. My previous employment involved working in everything from mom and pop shops to one of the largest corporations in America. I can truly say that this is the best place I have ever worked.
Everyone has their skills and abilities and it all boils down to where you feel comfortable and have opportunities to grow. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong working at Environmental Lights.
Cons
The hiring process is deliberately slow and thorough, but the result is a tremendous work force who are committed, dedicated and work well both independently and in a team atmosphere.
