Pros
Good, dedicated people and an honorable mission (to protect human health and the environment). Good work/life balance, great benefits.
Cons
Some of the agency's work can be very political at times, and you have to deal with bureaucracy. Also, with the change in Administration, things are likely different now than from when I worked there.
