Pros
Great culture; wonderful work/life balance; staff are dedicated and focused on the mission of protecting human health and the environment. Decision making for such a larger organization mimics that of a flat organization.
Cons
Growth opportunities can be limited depending on what GS level you enter as. Professional development doesn't appear to be a senior leadership focus. Decision making process can be excessively lengthy (i.e. sometime progress in work can be slow.)
