Pros

The level of expertise across the divisions provides a culture of growth for individual contributors. The division leaders, being experts themselves, provide valuable leadership to the teams. Each team is supported by a great staff of technical leads and directors. Overall, leadership has changed over the years, and it has only made the company stronger and positioned for growth. There are great opportunities for professional development and personal growth.

Cons

As I write this review today, I have no cons. I have enjoyed my time at Envista and feel I have made a great choice in my career.

Pros

Strong brand recognition in the forensic engineering and consulting space. Exposure to a wide variety of project types across industries. Access to knowledgeable technical experts with deep subject matter expertise. Flexible work environment depending on role and team. Ongoing investment in systems and tools aimed at improving reporting and visibility (though still maturing).

Cons

Operational execution consistently lags behind strategic vision, resulting in ongoing confusion and inefficiencies. A company-wide operational change to email routing for the PC team was announced shortly before the holidays, partially reversed within days, and has still not received clear follow-up or final direction months later—highlighting gaps in planning, communication, and accountability. Major initiatives are frequently implemented without adequate pilot testing or stakeholder alignment, leading to rework and disruption. Communication gaps between leadership and execution teams create inconsistent messaging and misaligned expectations. Frequent process changes mid-rollout create unnecessary friction for employees and external partners. Lack of clear ownership and accountability in cross-functional initiatives slows progress and reduces effectiveness. Systems and processes remain fragmented and underdeveloped, making it difficult to operate efficiently at scale.
