Insurance was affordable and had good ceverage.
Cons
Work life balance was not a priority for management. Very little wiggle room allowed when kid was sick or couldn't go to daycare due to daycare closing for illness. I hear corporate was different than the mill but most upper level management did 60+ hours a week and that is what was expected. I was salaried employee and the pay was decent but I worked 50-55 hours every week and if I need to leave to do taxes or a quick doctor's appointment I had to burn vacation. When you work that much Monday through Friday you shouldn't be expected to take a half day due to a 2 hour appointment. They have no clue what flex time means.
