Pros

Great on paper, messy in practice.

Cons

If you value professionalism and confidentiality, this may not be the right environment for you. I was surprised by how freely personal information and rumours were discussed by people who should have known better. Communication often felt fragmented when it came to important business matters, but somehow gossip travelled at lightning speed. If you work here, keep your personal life firmly on a need-to-know basis.

Pros

The friendships made here will last beyond this company. Nice colleagues suffering together.

Cons

Since they replaced all the C-level executives with people from Hello Fresh (and also strategic positions with engineers from there), the company has completely changed. They fired all the old leaders and put in this American-style leadership that doesn't inspire, doesn't engage in dialogue. It's no longer the Epassi we trusted, the one we enjoyed working for. Today it's a bunch of Hello Fresh people pressuring employees for productivity, there's no dialogue, actions are top-down, the product and its viability aren't analyzed, they don't know the customers or the market, and they change everything to their own way without alignment with the engineers. There's high pressure for delivery and layoffs are starting to happen. We're afraid to ask questions and give our opinions because the new leadership doesn't encourage and isn't open to hearing criticism.
