Pros

Abundant cheap food. No requirements to dress like an adult or even shower. No need to develop any of those pesky interpersonal skills, since you (and everybody else) will hide in your office with the door closed at all times.

Cons

Management training consists of drinking the kool-aid and little else. You will either get assigned a manager (oh, sorry, team lead) who has figured out a little how to manage, or you won't. Your boss (oops, I mean team lead again) really has no power to do anything but write your review. One colleague asked to change his duties to better suit his abilities, and his boss was unable to approve it. Nor his boss's boss. Nor the person above. Who was the person who decided how to best allocate this person's time? Karl, the #2 person in the company. Yet Epic denies that anything is micromanaged there. Now that I'm out, it's highly amusing, but it was frustrating at the time.
