Pros
A lot of freedom to do your daily work as you see fit, you are not micromanaged. You get a lot of responsibility up front.
Cons
You often have to work long hours and there aren't very many opportunities for real career advancement. They have supervisory positions, but they don't have very much real management, the decisions are made from above.
