Pros

- If you work hard, you get rewarded with promotions and regular raises, it is almost something you can take for granted. - Lots of tolerance for new and not so good software engineers, which makes it an ideal place to start a career in software development. But not so good if you are a strong developer. - Latest ERP version is now all in Microsoft technology stack which combined with the previous pro makes for great learning experience. - People help each other a lot and there is a mentor program to get you started. - The tools and release management teams are very organized which makes application development very easy to adapt to.

Cons

- Lacks a lot of benefits, and they have been cutting off existing benefits over the past couple of years, especially with the coming of the new CEO. - Has had lay offs in the US for a couple of times now and seems to be pushing more for foreign investments. - Because there is great tolerance to new and not so good developers you also don't have many people to learn from - There are a lot of managers, many of them outside of the US but the large number of them makes decisions difficult to be reached. - It is very easy to stay at a comfort zone and lose initiative, you can see this in the developers that have 10+ years and that still act as average developers. - Application development is driven by Product Management, and they seem to act as the major authority which makes it difficult to innovate and do new things (PMs are not very tech savvy) - Development managers come from a Progress background and generally don't like to adapt to new things, there are standards everywhere and breaking one is considered wrong even when it can bring greater user experience.

Pros

It’s been a really positive experience working at Epicor. I’ve had the chance to work on meaningful roles, partner closely with great teams, and continue learning along the way. The people here make a big difference—there’s a strong sense of collaboration, and it feels like everyone is working toward the same goals. Overall, it’s been a place where I’ve been able to grow and actually enjoy the day-to-day.

Cons

Like any company in a growth stage, things can move quickly at times, which can come with its challenges—but this is something Leadership is aware of and being cautious about.

Pros

- Supportive teammates - Powerful technology - Excellent growth opportunities - Vertical and Horizontal career advancement opportunities if you are curious, proactive, motivated, and genuinely passionate about the brand, teams, and the work we are doing

Cons

- It is easy to fade into the background if you don't have a center-stage role, you need to step up to make yourself visible; otherwise, you're at risk of career and reward stagnation - Like most companies, cost and timing are major contributing factors when deciding on the tools leadership make generally available to individual contributors - you're bound to be disappointed if you expect to have the latest and greatest of everything without first providing a value proposition to a senior leader. Be ready to invest personal time building use cases and gathering data to make strong cases for solutions you think will add value to your team and have a positive impact on the organizational strategy
