Pros

Learned a hard lesson to not waste time in a toxic environment- do your research! Reach out to any former employee they will tell you its awful here. Pro is now I know what exactly I DON'T want in my career and will hopefully be able to see unethical companies like this before wasting my time.

Cons

Consistently very few reqs to work on, only one BDM who's a huge hypocrite, will treat you like you're an idiot and not value your time or efforts (and then tell management he's been trying to help you), favoritism and unfair advantages given to some and not others. Be prepared to be very poorly managed by leadership and the only tenured employee. Training was a joke-- includes an extended process of reading the manual yourself and then having it read back to you page by page. Lots of drama and sketchy relationships (leaders hooking up with clients/consultants openly- unprofessional behavior encouraged). No females in leadership roles. Huge turnover was there for a few months and saw 5+ people come and go. Will give you the wrong foundation of ideals to start your career with and a bad reputation in the staffing world. Don't do it! You will regret it!

Pros

This has been a great job working for this staffing agency. I don't remember applying. But they called and did a short interview over the phone, and I was thankful I answered that call about the contract with Optum Rx and United Healthcare. You get four weeks of training, and United Healthcare employees act as the HR for you regarding training and day-to-day activities. They mail you all the computer equipment, get you IT support to help you set it all up—equity checks in periodically or weekly. Holly at Equity is excellent and feels like your best friend as she guides you through the initial steps. Everything else, like work/job tracking, is handled by United Healthcare. They are friendly, helpful and supportive.

Cons

The job is only $17 hourly and is not a living wage. Health insurance is offered but is not the most cost-effective. Getting hired by United Healthcare is challenging as you have to exceed their metrics. I have long covid, So I was not able to do that.
