The culture is one of chaos and confusion. There is no direction from head office and when an employee makes a decision and it is the wrong one, you are made to feel incompetent and stupid. Owners expect employees to work 10 to 12 hour days and because they give one a “Manager” title, there is no additional compensation. You are expected to be available after hours including weekends and if you take a vacation, you better be available then as well or be prepared to be told that you are not a team player. One of the owners has a derogatory nickname for everyone employed and speaks badly about employees to others. The owners promise you things that never come to fruition and they care only about how much business they can acquire. There is not enough staff to cover all of the condos managed so one is reactive to problems only.
