Pros

Somewhat flexible hours other than that, not much of anything.

Cons

Where to begin? Management is completely clueless and hands off. Littleton, no training. The owner is a complete ego, maniac. It is only concerned with his self-image And his little commercials. There is one manager who is awesome. The rest are self-absorbed and will not have your back in any way. Shape or form. There is no corrective planning. If you don't know how to do something, they will send you anyways and then write you up for doing it wrong. The HR department is an absolute joke. Between them. The owner and higher management there is no standards. They have at least 2 employees that are known to drink on the job and operate heavy equipment, and they sweep it under the rug. One incident almost costing someone their life. They will promise you lots of bonus potential and do everything they can to cut your bonus. However, they see fit. Management leaves at 4:30 PM on the dot even if they have teams still out working. They will not respond any time after 4:30 PM. The production manager is extremely arrogant and condescending and treats everyone as if they are worthless. There is no communication whatsoever every morning. Isn't absolute nightmare? They will split up teams and not even tell you. You are supposed to have a set crew, but almost everyday, it will change. If you have an issue, you will be gas lighted to the fullest. This company has no sense of loyalty. They have an extremely high turnover rate. They don't have a established safety program. This company is an osha nightmare. The issue out faulty ladders and equipment constantly. They put people's lives at risk every day. They do not routinely service their vehicles. The entire Fleet is a safety hazard. There's little to know career progression. Even though you will be promised up-and-down that there is. All in all, this company should be shut down. They're going to get people seriously hurt. As management turns a blind Eye to safety. The amount of drugs in alcohol that are knowingly consumed on company time is criminal. As long as those individuals are collecting checks, they will sweep it under the rug. If you value your family time and safety, do not work for this company. They will tell you that they don't weigh anybody off. Even when work is slow but won't hesitate to lay off. 15 people at a whack.

Pros

Working at Erickson is truly what you make of it. There are numerous growth opportunities in every department. I’ve taken advantage of the many training programs they offer and have significantly enhanced my skills since I started. My manager is excellent. He provides the right mix of freedom and guidance to take on exciting and innovative projects, and I learn a lot along the way. I really appreciate the trust he places in me. The coworkers here are fantastic. I get to interact with both office staff and employees in the field. I’ve made many close connections, some of which have turned into friendships. There’s no work drama, which is a huge relief compared to my time in the restaurant industry. Everyone is passionate about what they do, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see our team come together to make a real difference in homes that need repairs. It makes me proud to work here. Overall, the company culture is top-notch.

Cons

Since I have started working here, we have hired a lot of new people. As a result, parking is harder to find if you come into the office later than others. The office and warehouse can be cold during the winter months.

Pros

On the surface, a good culture?

Cons

Terrible benefits, lousy pay based on the hours that you put in. A sales pitch out of the used car industry.
