Pros

Adjustable desks, comfy chairs. Some good people who have to spend so much time on internal process and infighting. Basic salary and pension is competitive but no bonus in recent years mitigates.

Cons

Company is in a tail spin. No time to turn around before the next re-org. Reputation vs. reality of company. Constant risk of redundancy often in the middle of engagements, very poor settlement terms, short notice periods, last in first out model. Complex inefficient organisation the "Ericsson" way. No bonus negates competitive salary. Like contracting but with greater uncertainty. No reward or incentive for contributing to company performance.

Pros

The company culture is great. Super flexible, remote work culture and tons of different areas or career paths to pivot into. International company with offices in 180 different countries. Loads of diversity.

Cons

Many teams can be international, so timezones will conflict a lot and make it much harder to work with people who are overseas as they are logging off as you are getting on. This also causes communication issues as sometimes there can be language barriers.

Get work with an excellent team on interesting problems related to network API's, and communication APIs.

Cons

Some of the products could be better. Internal tooling changes a lot. Sales team don't get enough support from Marketing.
