Decent Company - Anonymous employee Erwin Hymer Group Employee Review

Its a job. Pay is regular.

Awful company to work for. 3 rounds of redundancies in as many years. Managing director giving himself payrises while everyone else was on pay freeze.

Sadly there are no positives right now. I would like to add that this review is about the factory at Consett and does not reflect Erwin Hymer Group as a whole.

Being at Erwin Hymer for a short period of time, it is clear I have made a grave mistake. It is evident that the management, team leader and above, have serious issues in running and leading a company. With extensive rework, repair and potentially unacceptable quality of everything put together at the site, it was a miracle that the business is able to stay operational. That however has changed as the majority of the hard working, seasoned are to be made redundant. This comes as no surprise as the leadership of the business have absolutely no clue in business management. Glaring issues in skills, communication and man management will eventually lead to the sites closure, added to the ever growing list of failures that the managing director has collected. It is sad that this is happening but the was on the cards. Avoid Erwin Hymer Group Consett and find gainful employment elsewhere where you will be valued more.
