Pros
The main thing is that it really feels like we’re building something important and ambitious and that’s inspiring. The team is stacked with strong senior people from the industry, plus a lot of talented younger folks. That mix creates a fast pace, constant learning, and a shared drive to move quickly and get real things done. I’ve never seen a team ship this fast without cutting corners. After working remotely for years in slower SaaS environments, being around a team that’s fully present and engaged was a big shift. Stuff gets unblocked immediately, decisions are fast, and the energy in the room keeps things moving. There’s no bureaucracy, no red tape it just works. I like the environment here. No corporate vibe, no fluff we actually hang out, have fun, and it genuinely feels like a group of people building something together.
Cons
The work is intense, in a good way, but it definitely takes a toll on work-life balance. It’s a conscious tradeoff for me, especially after a few years of slower-paced work. I could leave earlier or take time off anytime, no one would stop me, but I don’t want to miss deadlines or slow things down, so I usually end up staying late at the office
