Pros

Guaranteed income every week Variety of experience

Cons

The pay is so obnoxiously poor. You start on $16 per hour, which is $4 below the current minimum wage. They then charge you out for over $25 per hour You are treated as disposable by host companies

Etco Response

I am sorry to hear this individual had a bad experience at their last employer. However Engman-Taylor Company (ETCO) does not have a location in Tauranga, New Zealand nor do we have any electrician positions. We are a US based industrial distributor located in Wisconsin, Illinois and North Carolina. I believe this may be for another company going by ETCO.

Pros

Provides the opportunity for personal networking through fun family events sponsored by the Company on an annual basis. The CEO and other leadership within the Company are personable and make the effort to connect with as many of their staff at every oportunity. For the most part they are flexible with working around family commitments and allowing for work-family balance whenever possible.

Cons

ETCO would do well to encourage their staff to grow as individuals and professionals by encouraging communication, trainings and actively recruiting into new roles for career development. The Company needs to share direct profit with staff on a consistent basis.
