Pros

There is nothing good about this company

Cons

- There isn’t enough words to describe how bad this company is - The SLT are all over the place - one day it’s one aim, the next you have to drop everything and jump on a ridiculous bandwagon for 1 day - for them to then turn round and ask why you were not doing the other thing. - This company has 0 care for your mental health and wellbeing - in fact I would be surprised that they even know what that is - Unrealistic Targets - Customers Leaving every day -The above point is down to the fact the products are so bad and never really updated - you get told by SLT that our ‘competitors’ could not touch are products and that is probably correct because they would not want to at all. - New products weekly that fail and then no investment in the core products such as the ATS (which is so outdated) and Job adverts - CEO has said he is leaving the business hundreds of times, to reappear out of thin air and have people cowering - Nepotism runs all throughout this business not in a good way at all! - Redundancies were made a few months ago (AT THE SAME TIME THE CEO TOLD EVERYONE THEY NEEDED TO BE IN THE OFFICE 5 DAYS A WEEK- fantastic management) - After redundancies were made the MD (son of CEO) sent a very heartfelt email to employees, thanking them for their hard work through the tough times. Comedically, this was followed up by the CEO replying to everyone in the office (clearly unaware) saying ‘have all of them left the business now?’ To make matters worse he then replied again, saying who approved the email and that redundancies weren’t finished as they were looking to save more money, stamping his authority by saying he still owned the business (again this was sent to everyone) - It was only 20 minutes later and several flustered IT employees running round trying to recall an email. Unfortunately I cannot upload the emails as you can on glass door but hopefully that puts anyone off applying. - 0 perks - unless you think the legal standard for holiday days is brilliant - The bare minimum of everything (inc holidays benefits etc) - Holidays are shunned upon unless you take them at term time - SLT sit in a room for hours having secretive meetings - The staff turnover is the highest I have ever seen

Pros

The hours are the only thing (08:30-17:00)

Cons

Unfortunately, this company suffers from serious leadership and structural issues. The CEO appears ill-equipped to effectively manage the business, and tensions between him and the Managing Director—his son—regularly play out publicly on the office floor, creating an unprofessional and uncomfortable work environment. As a family-run business, opportunities for genuine career progression are essentially nonexistent. Performance and loyalty are not recognised in any meaningful way—there are no regular salary reviews, and the commission structure is deliberately opaque. If you perform well and begin earning fair rewards for your hard work, expect sudden changes that diminish your compensation. Staff turnover is extremely high across all teams of the business, from sales & E.B to CSM’s New employees are often sold a dream during the interview process, only to be faced with a very different reality within days of joining. The culture is cliquey, and some managers have been known to take credit for the work and achievements of their team members. Micromanagement is constant, and morale is low. Redundancies are poorly handled, often communicated by impersonal emails. In one case, a misdirected ‘reply all’ email from the CEO confirmed further job cuts—despite previous reassurance from the MD that they had ended. (Yes, people took screenshots!) Additionally, some managers engage in manipulative behaviour, gaslighting staff when legitimate concerns are raised. Rather than taking accountability or offering solutions, they respond with phrases like, “I’m sorry you feel that way,” which only adds to the frustration. Family members, regardless of their role or contribution, are paid disproportionately high salaries and openly flaunt their wealth in the workplace. This behaviour does nothing to motivate staff and instead fosters resentment.
