Pros

- Good salary for starter ( Freshie ) - Slow paced company - Supervisor or even manager can help if not knowing to finish the task given - Great start if entering here as high position job - Have a good work life balance for office worker ( Monday - Friday ) no alternate Saturday - Good choice to settle down if your priority not towards develop new skills, experiences and knowledges, promotion or recognition by your manager or superior (Good salary for high position) (Slow Paced) (Easy to approve leave) (No restriction for using phone during work) (Can have free time as long as you finish your job)

Cons

- Increment very little - Little to no benefits or allowance ( Attendance Allowance ) ( Food Allowance is include in the basic salary ) - Advantages to those who knows Mandarin language, if not very limited - Always have meeting without no conclusion - Still need guidance from HQ even though already in Malaysia for quite long period - Promotion tend to those who knows Mandarin, doesn't matter working quality, certificate or year of service - No KPI, therefore not knowing why different person have different benefit or treatment - No additional external training is provided, sometimes only internal training - Manager only can hear our problems without no solution since all decision need to be made by HQ - Fail communication with other department or even in same department - Young and inexperienced supervisor, not listen to opinion by subordinate - Most people only do their own work, not good teamwork - Minimum Annual Leave - Not good if want to develop skills, knowledge or leadership

Pros

This depends on the section, but overall: - Colleagues are generally friendly and easy to work with. - Training and guidance are provided, including for fresh graduates, as long as individuals are willing to learn and put in the effort. - Employees who are proficient in Mandarin may find it easier to navigate communication, particularly in environments involving headquarters or cross-regional discussions. - Replacement leave (RL) is calculated in 0.5-hour units, which provides flexibility when taking time off for personal or urgent matters without heavily impacting annual leave.

Cons

Again, the experience may vary depending on the section. Overall: - There are noticeable internal challenges in communication and collaboration across different levels (operators, engineers, and supervisors), including within the same team. - A large proportion of employees are fresh graduates, which may result in limited experience and could affect overall workflow efficiency. - The standard working hours are 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break), which is slightly longer than a typical 8-hour workday. While the salary range for fresh graduates (approximately RM3.5K–RM4K) may appear competitive, it aligns more closely with market average when adjusted for working hours. Additionally, there is a difference in Friday break duration, where Muslim male staff are given extended time for prayers. - Management-level roles are primarily held by expatriates, while supervisory roles are largely filled by long-serving local staff. In practice, meetings involving headquarters are frequently conducted in Mandarin, which may pose challenges for employees who are not proficient in the language, particularly in understanding discussions and receiving information directly. This can impact communication flow within certain teams. - Some management decisions appear to be influenced by practices from other regions, without always being fully adapted to local regulatory and operational contexts. There are opportunities to strengthen alignment with local requirements. - The digital working environment is relatively fragmented, with multiple platforms used for different functions (e.g. email, documentation, meetings, and file sharing). This may create inconvenience for those who prefer a more centralized system. Overall, the company can be a suitable place to gain initial experience, but may present challenges for long-term growth depending on individual preferences, particularly in terms of communication and working environment.
