Pros

Not much to speak of. Really nothing much from a LinkedIn Top voice CEO; most of us were sold a dream to join. What an outspoken talker. Lied about incentive trip, replaced with pizzas over lunch hoping that we forget

Cons

A lot. Micromanaging with lots of Hays style kpi and passive aggressive hints on how far behind you are. One was called out for not closing fast enough before a manager’s return from “maternity leave” Many unnecessary “mandatory training” over your lunch time to code database Lack of transparency. Some teams get better treatment and that’s a fact. One firm with 2 different treatments. Some favourites have iron rice bowls. PIP is not consistent across the firm, as with promotion. Leavers are pressed to handover and close deals and commission payout conditions vague- only after you leave you realise you are not due commission. However, there is hope. Challenge the firm to small claims court and ceo will entertain with mediator then pay you. EX EBC, if You need to file a claim, do so within 2years of resigning if you are owed $

Pros

Having been with the business coming up to my first year, pleased to see the help I received with training, meeting people and fellow colleagues. I work within a larger team there and my colleagues have been super helpful and allowed me to pick things up quickly, introductions to client and work together to BD clients. The market is tough but EBC allows us to work across countries. Also, as a smaller sized firm it means there is more to go after and we can be quicker to go after business opportunities. I joined alongside some other new joiners who seem to be doing well too. Leadership invests time early on with new joiners to help them gel and have early breakthroughs. I hope I can continue the good things and hope to keep getting the help I need I am receiving.

Cons

Need more help around AI tools and training for use of AI. Feel we have some good things already but hope to receive more, which I believe is part of the plan this year.

Pros

1. Great modern office 2. Banking Financial services is the best performing team by productivity and fastest growing team by headcount. You do not need to BD and we have a long list of PSL banks to farm jobs 3. Nice caring managers, people who genuinely have an interest in your development, career and wellbeing 4. Collaborative and forgiving environment. No micromanaging, Vision day cycles are twice a year for consultants to work out a plan to work towards your promo targets 5. Good wfh policies, I hear people get to wfh more than 2 days if justified by valid reasons 6. Benefits are one of the best- LinkedIn RPS covered by the firm and free for new joiners, reduced threshold for a good start as a new joiner

Cons

It is a place that suits ex Hays, ex Selby consultants. May be a bad thing as there are too many ex Hays. Pay wise we are benchmarking to Hays, RW. Kpis getting more but it is expected giving today’s world. Other firms are slashing headcounts while EBC retains better than its competition. We are not firing people and giving consultants space and time to survive the market
