Pros

Cons

They haven’t paid my expenses after I resigned. I have followed up 8+ times and have had to escalate to FairWork. They have just ignored me and told current employees that they have paid. Ps: I’m not the first person to experience this.

Pros

Having been with the business coming up to my first year, pleased to see the help I received with training, meeting people and fellow colleagues. I work within a larger team there and my colleagues have been super helpful and allowed me to pick things up quickly, introductions to client and work together to BD clients. The market is tough but EBC allows us to work across countries. Also, as a smaller sized firm it means there is more to go after and we can be quicker to go after business opportunities. I joined alongside some other new joiners who seem to be doing well too. Leadership invests time early on with new joiners to help them gel and have early breakthroughs. I hope I can continue the good things and hope to keep getting the help I need I am receiving.

Cons

Need more help around AI tools and training for use of AI. Feel we have some good things already but hope to receive more, which I believe is part of the plan this year.

Pros

Not much to speak of. Really nothing much from a LinkedIn Top voice CEO; most of us were sold a dream to join. What an outspoken talker. Lied about incentive trip, replaced with pizzas over lunch hoping that we forget

Cons

A lot. Micromanaging with lots of Hays style kpi and passive aggressive hints on how far behind you are. One was called out for not closing fast enough before a manager’s return from “maternity leave” Many unnecessary “mandatory training” over your lunch time to code database Lack of transparency. Some teams get better treatment and that’s a fact. One firm with 2 different treatments. Some favourites have iron rice bowls. PIP is not consistent across the firm, as with promotion. Leavers are pressed to handover and close deals and commission payout conditions vague- only after you leave you realise you are not due commission. However, there is hope. Challenge the firm to small claims court and ceo will entertain with mediator then pay you. EX EBC, if You need to file a claim, do so within 2years of resigning if you are owed $
