Pros
- Very bright people to work with - Lovely office space - Some great colleagues
Cons
Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience working at Euc. The description of the organisation as “fast-paced” often felt like an excuse for poor behaviour and a justification for treating employees poorly. As others have mentioned, your experience will vary greatly depending on the team you’re in. In my case, the team consistently felt stretched far too thin. It often seemed like people wanted to speak up about workload or pressure but were too afraid of how senior management would respond, so concerns went unspoken. The culture felt like “breaking you to build you back up,” which may work for some, but not for me or many of my peers. Within my first six weeks, I was repeatedly told that my work was “disappointing” and “concerning,” and that senior management had no confidence in my ability to perform to a decent standard. This environment left me feeling constantly anxious, stressed, and unsure of myself. Leaving was difficult, but I am extremely glad I did. Ultimately, if you don’t fit their mould, it becomes clear very quickly that you won’t be supported.
