      Pros

      Good place to begin a career in political risk, but leave before your morale is killed by the miserable management

      Cons

      The reputation of Eurasia Group and its founder have been in steady decline for years, and for good reason. The place isn't serious about good analysis anymore. Its essentially a media company, organized for the benefit of the founder's brand name, not the company's clients. People are figuring that out.

      Nice people Interesting work Work from anywhere in August and last two weeks of the year Small firm means you get to work w folks across teams Work life balance

      Cons

      Your experience depends on team Higher management creates policies without consulting employees There are alot of favorites (ppl who have worked w firm for 10+ years) and then others who stay 2 years or less. Not much in between, basically you fit into the culture or you don’t Doesn’t value diversity, lots of white men w big egos Career progression is limited in many roles/teams
