If you are a young women this job is not safe for you. A few years ago I reported an instance of physical altercation I had with a male outside the branch, I immediately picked up the phone to report the situation to the AS/AM. When I signed up for the position I was told that we were going to be working in pairs in the branch but soon enough they had me and others manning the branch alone. This situation happened while I was manning the branch alone.
The only thing my AS/AM had real concern for was whether or not I can continue to work my shift. The CCTV was never actually checked by eurochange to help identify the male and I was left to continue manning the branch alone even after this unsafe occurrence, after weeks of still being expected to man the branch alone when it clearly was not safe to do so I decided to hand in my resignation with immediate effect. I am still so disappointed to this day that more care wasn’t taken to ensure staff safety and security. I was 19
