Pros
On the job training and quality product. Nice dress code.
Cons
I had a horrible experience working for EWC. It was my first job out of school, pay was incredibly low. I was told to let my friends and family know that they could be my model during training but I know of at least two people that were told I was fully booked when they called to schedule. My books were full of management and other employees friends and family. I was also told during my first meet ing that I had not been cleared to be hired by upper management. My trainer was rude and disrespectful. She talked down to me every chance possible. The final straw was on my last day of training a client came in for a Brazilian with what appeared to be an STD outbreak in her bikini area. I advised her that due to irritation I would be unable to complete the service. She called to complain and made up lies regarding my professionalism. I was addressed by the manager and trainer due to this and again disrespected, I was told basically that I didn't know what I was doing! Informed that I shouldve waxed and avoided the infected/inflamed area! Crazy considering the trainer was a cosmotologist and I a licensed esthetician! Cosmos major in hair and barely touch on learning the skin. Esthetician's sole study is on the skin. Horrible experience with the company but so glad I got out early.
