Pros
My team was phenomenal, the hardest-working group I have ever led. The guests were fun to interact with and get to know. It was always entertaining around there, never a dull moment. I even enjoyed selling wax passes. The things I loved outweighed the things I did not love, however...
Cons
Upper management is incompetent. Even though my center had greatly improved in my time there, nothing else mattered but SPT, WPC and retail conversion. Even though my center was the highest-grossing EWC in our region of the state, and very profitable, if we were a smidgen off from KPI goals, I was hearing about it constantly from our GM. We were watched on cameras daily and I would receive texts, micromanaging activities every day. I was expected to be on the desk and maintain my personal goals, while managing the center and staying on top of all that entails, while other managers in our franchise never worked on their desks and would go months without selling a pass. There was a lot of favoritism among the managers in our franchise, and I didn't play the game so I suffered the consequences. They overwork their waxers, expecting seasoned waxers who are booked back-to-back to add on, add on, add on, even when they don't have time to pee. It's disgusting. This franchise should be ashamed of how they treat people.
