Pros
1) Decent pay 2) Good middle management (not corporate leadership). DON, ADON, and individual floor managers are great. 3) Fantastic insurance plan and benefits.
Cons
1) Patient load and acuity are too high. Residents who are classified as "assisted living" are actually total care. Poorly trained CMTs providing what should be nursing care. 2) They are more driven by profits now than by either quality of patient care or staff. Corporate leadership is focused on how they can make the most profit while providing the least care for residents. 3) Few if any bonuses offered for picking up shifts, but they are always asking you to work another shift.
