Pros

Note to readers: if you listen to 20 opinions, then the most frequent opinion is most likely to be true. Do not trust any individual opinion, including ones that share names. If you watch KBC, audience poll is almost always right even if most of the audience don't know the answer. Pros: 1) Work life balance for selected teams. 2) Free breakfast and lunch. Fancy rooftop eatery. 3) Reimbursement on book purchases. 4) Scope for research (but extremely limited to the point that it doesn't exist). 5) Enormous amount of money if you stick around. 6) Location - Koramangala is awesome. 7) Good company to work for <=2 years.

Cons

1) When I quit, the company had 4.9/5 (around 20 reviews) on Glassdoor. Most of the reviews were curated. With the current score at 3.9 you can understand what's the latest trend - tremendous downfall. 2) Teams other than DS and BA have 24/7 working hours. Calls can come from anyone at any time of the day and week. 3) Teams are isolated. There is no real coordination. Each team wants to dominate the other. 4) Code reviews are only meant to harass the coder. 5) Business analysts have at least 50% pay advantage and early promotion advantage over others because they are limited in number. BAs are dumber than a second coat of paint. 6) Politics is not just about top people dominating each other. It's also about top people dominating most good developers and rewarding few unworthy developers and analysts. Based on #5, it is essential to acknowledge that only minimum politics exists. But it is very unhealthy because of the employee count. 7) Initial few days will be awesome as everyone tries to be upfront. After some time it becomes impossible to work with anyone in the company as they start showing their true colors. 8) People with 1-2 years experience get promoted to 'Manager'. It is impossible to get same designation outside after resignation. Even the most experienced developer will be recruited as a senior software engineer.

Pros

A lot of opportunity to work on many projects. Could be a good move for early stage professionals to work across domains, but not great for senior and above unless you're very adept at managing up.

Cons

High stress, very political and could be chaotic with leadership prioritizing the newest trend
