Pros

The company is going a good direction

Cons

it's disheartening to witness the toxic culture perpetuated by the leadership team of some departments. The higher-ups gossip, backstab, and hire and have hired leaders with the same destructive behavior, pushing out employees who don't conform to this negativity. Instead of offering constructive feedback or support, they only criticize, making it difficult for anyone genuinely trying to get things done. They humiliate employees through harsh public emails and public call-outs during meetings, rather than providing coaching or constructive feedback in a private, respectful manner. This environment has driven away valuable and hardworking employees. It's a shame because the company has so much potential if only the leadership would focus on fostering a healthy and collaborative culture, instead of finding "gotcha" moments to block, hinder, and backbite fellow colleagues.

Pros

Evolus has such an incredible team of employees and it makes all the difference in allowing me to do my best work and have fun doing it. The opportunities to grow in my career and be involved in stretch projects have helped me develop well beyond my job description. The culture is fun, authentic, and special. Headquarters is breathtakingly beautiful and an incredible place to be able to work.

Cons

We work hard and the to-do list is long, but the perks, people and potential are worth it!

Pros

Opportunity to work alongside incredibly talented and knowledgeable colleagues. Flexible office hours that allow you to manage your schedule. Fully stocked kitchen and consistent employee injection days.

Cons

Workplace culture has deteriorated significantly following multiple rounds of layoffs. Many employees appear to be operating from a place of uncertainty, which has contributed to increased tension. Disrespectful communication between coworkers and departments is common and often goes unaddressed. Collaboration can feel challenging when interactions are frequently defensive and confrontational. When company goals are not met, there is a tendency toward blame-shifting rather than problem-solving. This has created an environment where teams spend more time defending decisions than working together toward solutions. The company advertises unlimited PTO, but employees may find it difficult to take advantage of depending on management approval.
