Pros
Most of the employees are good people There's potential to be a good agency The office space is nice, office manager does her best to make it an enjoyable space (lunches, 5 a 7, snacks, it's clean) Opportunities to learn new things and get involved in the Drupal community Opportunities to travel
Cons
- No clear org structure, vision, direction, or goals communicated to anybody in the organization - The CEO and his right hand make all the decisions and hardly consider anyone else's suggestions - Input from other directors is not valued - even less so from individual contributors - They claim to be remote first but always want folks in the office - Leadership has no people management skills and no respect for people's time (they expect you to accommodate their schedules so expect late meetings and no-shows. You'll be asked to make things happen without enough time or resources so expect to work overtime) - There's lots of micromanagement (strict task management and time logging. you have to track your daily tasks on multiple platforms for review) - Lots of employees have been laid off or resigned since January and leadership is not addressing any concerns despite claiming to value transparency - Leadership is comfortable bad mouthing others when they're not around - The company has good PR. Based on social media and the people you'll talk to, it'll seem like a nice place to work. Then you start and you quickly realize if you don't drink the kool-aid, you won't be valued. - There's good people at the company but it's ruined by poor leadership - Salaries, benefit structure, and PTO is not comparable to industry standards
