Pros
Working there up till the first year will be great here. No joke, there was constant mentoring, patience and fun times with the 2 bosses. There is a good work life balance here with 2 WFH days and with little OTs. The company's culture is friendly and warm.
Cons
Those pros listed comes at a price. Im not exaggerating - the previous employees who gave warnings, we thought that they were being crazy because that was not how our bosses acted, at least not till the end of our employment with them.
Everything they did, whether it be genuine or not, came back to us as emotional leverage by one of the bosses. New Macbooks bought for us/Fancy meals/Company Bondings? They were all used as leverage. Then that same boss would tell you that its hard to operate the business because his "friends" would advice against such a culture, and basically guilt trip you for "taking advantage" of a system HE SET UP.
Not to mention when things get rough, his position as a boss suddenly is your problem - he will dump his emotional baggage on you and forget that as an employee, you shouldnt be dealing with operational adversities.
Its almost as if he finds it unfair that his employees are not as stressed as him? Not one but FOUR of us have been hit by the delays of his salary and bonuses because of cash flow issues.
He would then be so condescending to you for asking when your last salary would come in because apparently WE dont get how business work and that cash flow is tight.
Which understandably is something small businesses would face. BUT to not prepare it for the 1 month notice (resignations) is crazy. Because what do you mean you didnt see this coming.
Ok there were definitely times the bosses have done personal hits at you simply because the business isnt doing well but i shan't trauma dump more.
