Hi,
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your time and effort in providing this.
We endeavor to be transparent and before any person is asked to work with ECA they are explained the work place environment, they are shown what kind of work they would be expected to carry out via the observation day. All this is done before a contract is signed between ECA and the person.
ECA has been successful in its expansion and thrives to provide exciting opportunities to individuals who would like to grow with the organisation.
We do apologize for your negative experience and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

- Easy access to management.
- Your work colleagues.
- Fast progression opportunities are real, if you have an affinity for direct sales.
- Occasional non-financial incentives.
Cons
- Your pay is 100% commission only. It is perfectly possible to go days without pay if you don't make any sales.
- You are knocking on doors in Sheffield, Rotherham and the surrounding areas.
- You cover your own travel expenses.
- If you make it to Team Leader and you're interviewing people, you're expected to pay their travel expenses too, if the interviewee can't afford it.
- Working hours are not 10-6 as stated. You arrive in the office by 10am and leave by 9-10pm. Sometimes later, depending on public transport.
- You work Saturdays as well.
- You're working outside all day, every day. Expect to get wet.
- The job is physically demanding. I didn't realise how much it was draining me until other people commented on my weight and colour loss.
- High staff turnover. When someone leaves, it's considered taboo to ever mention their name again.
its job advertisement is the only pro and that is a lie within itself as they don't tell you the details of the job
Cons
door 2 door chuggers.
the company as a whole is incompetent
10 hour shifts

you may have to drive miles and wont be reimbursed for the cost of travel
100% commission based jobs
low percentage commission pay outs
bunch of con men.
never paid on time
new recruits wont be paid until 2 months after starting.... yes 2 months.
