Cons
Remote work here still means work. A few new hires leave during probation probably because they hoped “remote” would translate into lighter effort.
It can also feel lonely at times; a coffee over video is better than nothing but no substitute for the hallway chat.

Formal training exists, though it could be planned out more systematically rather than left to individual initiative.
