Pros

- Employees who joined before 2025 still got to enjoy full-time working from home, but for those who live within 1.5 hrs transit of any offices they are required to return at least twice a month. - Employee insurance is comprehensive and easily claimed. - Colleagues and team leads are mostly nice and helpful. - Position wise it helps you to gain knowledge on AI, use of GPT, different countries’ companies systems, which are very useful no matter which business or IT fields you are going in in the future. - Everyone use Mac! That’s much better than Windows. - Diverse and inclusive. Got to work with colleagues from Asia, Europe, and all over North America.

Cons

- Discretionary time off is a scam. The company promoted unlimited time off but whenever you need to apply for more than 20 days of paid leave, the HR will use every means to hinder e.g. delayed approval, or give pressures to your team leads to explain . But 20 days standalone is more than industry average. - For research associate there’s a demerit point system for every works you do, and it is purely punitive. Recently they even introduced a snitching system for colleagues to actively send email to others’ team leads to talk about what you have done wrong in each case, no matter how small or big is the mistake. - Salary is super low, compared to the workload coming along. And even though you have maintained outstanding work quality throughout the year and finally got a promotion to senior / manager, the salary adjustment would always be within 5%. Promotion head count is also very limited. And for those who don’t get promoted, expect only $100 rise per year. - Always not given enough time to work, expect frequent overtime working. The company requires OT work to be pre-approved such that you can receive OT pay, which means, any OT works resulted from urgent requests or delays from others that you cannot anticipate won’t get paid. - Now there is no more full time remote position. All hybrid staff are required to return to office twice a week.

Pros

- The people who you work with are genuinely kind, intelligent, and resourceful. - Sometimes the work is interesting. - Unlimited Discretionary Time Off (i.e. your manager has to approve it).

Cons

- Career development is nonexistent unless you came in as a VP. - RTO mandate. - The pay is not competitive, and will remain below par regardless of your performance. Expect annual raises below the rate of inflation. - The difference between what higher-ups assume our products and data sources can do often does not line up with reality. - The company donated the salaries of ~4 people to Trump's birthday party and then laid off a significant portion of the workforce. - Constant emails from HR welcoming new VP-level hires while everyone else who actually works has to fill in the gaps caused by the layoffs and sees nothing in return. - You will be pestered to vote for the CEO in every meaningless popularity contest that comes up, consigning you to a lifetime of spam email.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. With over three years at Exiger, your feedback matters. We’re glad you’ve had a positive experience with your colleagues, building strong, capable teams is something we value. That said, many of the claims in your review, particularly around compensation decisions, layoffs, and external activities, are either inaccurate or lack important context. We take transparency seriously and do not make decisions that compromise our values or our people. We recognize that periods of change can create frustration, especially around workload, communication, and career progression. These are areas we are actively working to improve, including clearer development paths, more consistent communication, and continued evaluation of compensation practices. We welcome candid feedback, but it’s important that it remains constructive and grounded in fact. We encourage employees to raise concerns directly so they can be addressed in a meaningful and productive way.
